Juan Esteban Aristizábal Vásquez (born ), known professionally as Juanes, is a Colombian musician, singer-songwriter, guitarist and record producer. He is one of the most influential Latin American artists of all time, having won 27 Latin Grammy Awards and 2 Grammy Awards.
Born in Medellín, Colombia, Juanes began his music career as a member of the rock band Ekhymosis before launching a highly successful solo career. His music blends rock en español with Latin pop, addressing themes of love, social justice, and peace.

Juanes released his debut solo album "Fíjate Bien" in 2000, which earned him three Latin Grammy nominations. His breakthrough came with his second album "Un Día Normal" (2002), which included the massive hit "A Dios le Pido" and won five Latin Grammy Awards.
