Nicky Jam (born ) is a Colombian-American reggaeton singer and songwriter. Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, he grew up in Puerto Rico and is considered one of the pioneers of the reggaeton genre.
He began his musical career as a teenager and gained fame in the mid-1990s, forming a duo with Daddy Yankee. After going solo, he released numerous hits including "Travesuras", "El Perdon" with Enrique Iglesias, and "X" with J Balvin.
Nicky Jam won the Latin Grammy Award for Best Urban Song and has collaborated with major artists worldwide. His autobiography-inspired Netflix series Nicky Jam: El Ganador premiered in 2018.
