Faustino Asprilla (born ) is a Colombian former professional footballer who played as a forward or winger. He is considered one of the most talented Colombian players of his generation.
Asprilla played for Parma in Italy, where he won the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and UEFA Super Cup, and Newcastle United in England. He scored a famous hat-trick against Barcelona in the Champions League in 1997.
He represented Colombia at two FIFA World Cups (1990 and 1994) and is remembered for his spectacular goals and unpredictable playing style.
