Diego Édison Umaña Peñaranda (born 12 March 1951) is a Colombian football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He is the current manager of Deportes Quindío's youth categories.

Biography

Diego Umaña Diego Édison Umaña Peñaranda (born 12 March 1951) is a Colombian football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He is the current manager of Deportes Quindío's youth categories. Umaña played in eight matches for the Colombia national football team from 1975 to 1981. He was also part of Colombia's squad for the 1975 Copa América tournament. His son Giancarlo is also a manager.
