Biography

Alex Jadad Alex Jadad (born August 9, 1963) is a Canadian-Colombian physician-scientist, clinical epidemiologist and public health scholar. His work focuses on evidence-based medicine, networks of trust, simulation scenarios, digital health, end-of-life care and human-machine collaboration. He is also known as the developer of the Jadad Scale, the first validated tool to assess the methodological quality of clinical trials, and the Founder of the Centre for Global eHealth Innovation (now the Centre for Digital Therapeutics) in Toronto, a simulator of the future of healthcare and medicine.
